Returning Player

Hey guys,

All the reviews on the expansion got me hyped so I just bought TWW. I haven’t played since 10.1 Embers of Neltharion.

Before I log in and slowly try to adjust to all the new changes, how is Fury? And where can I find the best info on rotations, talents and all that good stuff?

Thanks

Fury and Arms are about neck and neck in terms of DPS from initial estimates. So playing either spec should be a viable option.

Warrior in general has had a shuffle of talelents moving the tree around a bit. It sadly still has a lot of the same issues we had in Dragonflight (Class tree has too many throughput cboices making us lack utility options). That being said Shockwave is now in a very accessible position for most builds.

Fury has had some adjustments, where pressing Bloodthirst is more important in the rotation than in 10.0 & 10.1 (Where you pretty much ignored Bloodthirst), though Raging Blow still takes a higher priority. Other than that just smaller additons based on hero trees (Thunderclap gets incorporated if you choose Mountain Thane, Bladestorm if you go Slayer).

WoWHead, Icyveins, Maxroll.gg, and of course tbe Warrior Discord Skyhold are all excellent sources of information.

Warrior despite some talent flaws, is in a good spot. As a long warrior and dk main, I had a hard time deciding my main, and ended up going warrior.

Fury imo is the best it has felt just about ever in pvp and pve.

Arms pve wise feels okay. Not my style. But gets really big chunky hits.

Wowhead has some good pve guides there.

Pvp wise, unless arms gets a buff, fury just feels better. More burst and sustain currently.

Thank you very much to both for all the info. I gotta say I am excited to jump in soon as this maintenance is over. Everything looks so good.
