Normal dungeon gear is higher in that context, but ZM gear goes up to 252, which is 3 points higher than heroics and 10 points lower than mythic 0’s.

Just curious, what is the level of gear we get when we hit DF?
Subject to change, but I think the first stuff I got from quests was around 210 or so.

I mean LFR gear is 3 points higher than mythic 0. My point was there’s plenty of options, depending on your playstyle. ZM is considered a casual option and then you have more serious options like mythic+ and raids.
Yeah this. Don’t worry about gear. We’re all going to replace everything in the first few dungeons of DF. 
If you want to gear up, just wait until the prepatch event. We’ll be getting some decent gear then, that will make the transition into DF much smoother.
