Returning player stuck in BFA

my wife just came back to wow after being gone a year. she has 2 of the allied races unlocked maghar an highmountan. but yet when she made a new toon it acted as if she were BRAND new, went to level 10 and now shes stuck doing BFA? is there a way to drop the quest and get one for panda land witch she has never done?

If she’s Horde:

  1. Go to Orgrimmar
  2. Talk to the “Command Board” right in front of Grommash Hold, to the left (The building where the Warchief is in the center of the main area near the AH in Orgrimmar.)
  3. Take the first quest, it should be to talk to Chromie. Accept that from the Command Board.
  4. Go to the Valley of Spirits, talk to Chromie.
  5. Pick whatever expansion you want to level in through Chromie and Chromie will prompt you with a quest. Accept that.
  6. Have fun.

Put the BFA quest(s) on untracked, or abandon them if you so choose.

i can have her hearth out and try again but when she was being forced to go to the BFA start the command board said “there is nothing of interest here for you”
