Hi All. I am a hoarder. Bank full of stuff from previous expansion. Are there any items/gear from previous expansion that are still useful to keep? I am trying to clean out my bank and inventory. What is the most useful thing to do with old gear. Sell, disenchant, or something else. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.
get rid of them all. Enchanting mats are generally not used on new xpac. Old gear doesn’t matter because of gear upgrade as well as not needing them for tmg anymore

Thank you for help. In a way I wish the game didn’t make gear follow the borrowed power escalation path. Transmog gives a little bit of relief from that allowing old gear to mean something. But some of the gear took a lot of work to get and in a way you feel like it was for nothing.
Not really. The tmog appearance will remain in your tmog tab so the “essence” of the gear is still there.

You should hoard everything, why would you wanna sell or de it! 
Get rid of anything you can. None of it is useful. At most, you can use some of the pieces you can’t delete anyway as a gimmick for timewalking weeks but even then you don’t “need” to do that and even if you did it has arguable actual benefits.
Nothing item/profession wise is worth keeping or even to sell. Since professions all level independently by expansion, only a VERY niche subset of players, namely completionists, are going to bother to earn old expansion stuff and those that do probably have their own support system to gather mats since that is their endgame.
DF is also REALLY bad (worse than every other past expansion by far) with bag clutter.
