Anyways I quit once BC ruined the game for me and well with not playing in 10 years i need a UI that is warrior friendly.
-So far i remember that i used to be able to see hp bars over monsters,
-i seem to think i had an easier time tab’n target and auto attacking ( i think but maybe i just have not mastered tab>t functions yet.
-and how the heck do i disable the text above monsters as they say useless stuff?
HP over enemies by hitting “v”
Interesting I don’t hear people bash BC often, seems nonsensical to me since it’s just classic but better… anyway I use elvui for all my needs work great

Besides hitting v Could also try threat plates add-on that gives a nice simple indication of that.
answer is going to be:
but duh flying ruined muh world pee vee pee.
-blood elves
-horde get pallies, alliance get shaman
-flight(you mentioned)
-resilience and stat ratings
-from 40 down to 25 man raiding
-the start of different dungeon difficulties
-arena
-token gear
I personally don’t have a problem with any of these changes, but these are some of the common complaints you see.
Yeah a lot of those changes seem good, I like the blood elf model greatly but I dislike that everyone else does too so it causes all my ugly horde amigos to be Barbie girls and kens.
I agree with pally and shamans having them in both factions seems to ruin that illusion of consequences for your choice, having to completely reroll away from your main just to play another class you didn’t have access to.
I don’t like flight for widely discussed and obvious reasons. 25 man seems nice to me to be honest because it’s much easier to rally the troops and smaller guilds to run content when you’re on a med pop server and the player pool is smaller.

I won’t fault anyone for not caring for some of these things, but saying the game was ruined is the height of hyperbole.
I love BC because of these things lol

agree with all of you. the changes TBC brought were positive, and helped fix the game in many ways.
Poor OP.
Just wanted some UI help, gets discussion on BC instead.

You should probably stick with the default UI.
TBC was great.
And if you go into your keybinds, you can unbind the V key so you don’t accidentally hit it all the time like I do >.>
I don’t hear a lot of this now, but at the time, I’m pretty sure I remember a lot of people not liking being “off world.” That feeling of moving to a different planet, and not being connected with Azeroth. I didn’t personally mind, as I played a lot more seriously in BC than I ever did during Vanilla, so I didn’t really get that feeling myself.
ElvUI is nice while it is working. Unfortunately often times buttons stop working or resizing the window causes the icons to go all bloaty, and nothing short of a refresh will cure it. I suspect the the dev makes slight nudges to the code every couple days so that the client pops up the “ElvUI is out of date, pay for premium for it to autoupdate” advertisement.
“Besides hitting v Could also try that plates that gives a nice simple indication of that.”
what do you mean by that? is that an option i can change in the ui?
Ugh my phone and it’s autocorrect.
Threat plates addon
personally i hate the be model, i wish they made them look more like the warcraft 3 ones instead of straying away from it
