Returning player needs pLvl help

I’ve been playing from zero and new Gnome Hunter/ Engineer and I’m frankly very confused with Legion. I’ve leveled to 112 and don’t understand why I can’t find more than 2 champions in my order hall. Also, I keep seeing references to levels way beyond 112. For instance, there is an order hall mission I can’t do because it needs 3 champions to run it and I only have my first 2 and the archer troops and I get an success percentage of only 47%. It’s called “Darkfall Ridge Supplies” and it says its intended for pLvl 720. What on earth is that? I’m only 112 and I can’t see anything even remotely close to that level on my character sheet. I also can’t seem to get any artifact upgrades for my Titanstrike any higher than +15. And none of the weapon tree attributes are clickable. All greyed out.

Have I done something incorrectly or missed some important mission/quest somewhere? I’m

It seems like I just followed the order hall quest chain and I got all the followers. WoWhead had good guides with all the quests in order for these. Alternatively you can just skip the Legion stuff and come to BfA for the current content.

I really don’t want to skip this. I totally enjoy playing out the storylines. The Wowhead guide is very general and I can’t seem to find these class hall quests it refers to. I have to admit I feel like a total n00b with this. The level numbers are totally confusing to me. And I can’t get the darn artifact weapon traits to work. I’m getting totally frustrated with this and I recall leaving WoW several years ago for something similar.

Check for khadgar near the hub of suramar. On my hunter the quest chain for the rest of the followers started there.

Artifacts got sacrificed at the end of legion, since you are past that point, the traits don’t work anymore.

And that level would something related to you item level, not you character level

If you poen your mission board, hit the followers tab, you will see the followers you do not have listed on the left bottom side. There are level requirements and other requirements before you can unlock them. When you hover over them, they should say what is needed to unlock them, and its all usually tied to your order hall quest line, that opens up as you gain levels.

Wowhead has a good guild, you can look for it there or google it.

The Artifacts do not work ever since the pre-patch released before BfA.

Thanks. I’m looking for him there. He seems to be in many places.

So my class hall map mission requires my champions to be level 720? the 2 that I have are only 108. How can I level them up if they have no chance of success on a level 720 mission?

Oh, you need to level them up by sending them on missions to 110. That is talking about their level, not yours

I don’t know because I never looked, but it’s possible that as you upgrade your followers they may still use the original Legion iLvL numbers instead of the squished BfA ones. At the end of Legion, they made all the numbers palatably smaller, so instead of iLvL 1000 trinkets we had 235ish. But followers probably start in the high 600s still.
You will probably need to get follower upgrade equipment to improve their stats; you’ll find caches of it periodically as mission rewards and such. You might just have to wait until later to do that mission, unfortunately, or risk failure.

See my previous post for more, but that’s the champion’s item level, not character level. Once they’re level 110 they’ll show their item level and it can be improved with tokens. There may also be order hall research you can perform so you can spend resources to get more upgrade tokens and gear. :wink:

Check your quest log for quests under “hunter”, “hunter campaign” and “artifact” categories. You have missed a lot of class hall quests or you’d have those followers.

Thank you everyone for the help. I have finally found my next champion. Hopefully, the rest of them won’t be so elusive.
