noob question i know, but it has been 6 years…
if i ran a myth dazalor…and it stopped at tink…what are my options as far as finishing?
do i HAVE to make the group myself or can i join others (with caveats)
i know for the dungeons i was able to run without being able to loot stuff i had cleared…raids the same maybe?
So, you would make the group yourself and share the lockout with you and everyone who was in the group. If they went past tink but you stopped, the lockout might be finished actually. It will not be possible to join another group because it will not let you into a different mythic lockout. However, Tuesday is soon and it resets all weekly lockouts then. I hope this helps.
oh the others can FINISH it and completely eliminate possibility of finishing it myself??? ouch
You are all on the same exact lockout with the same status of bosses being dead or not, so unfortunately yes they could finish it after you leave. This eliminates the possibility of you finishing it until Tuesday reset, but then you are in the clear and can join/start any lockout you like.
and i suppose i cant do like myth dungeons either? join a group but i just cant loot stuff ive already killed? (did that with a few bfa dungeons anyway)
It will pop up with a message when you try to go in the instance saying “you are saved to another instance” or something like that, so you can’t go into another mythic raid group for the same raid. Dungeons, yes thankfully you can still run them even if you are not eligible for loot.
