So as a main WW Monk I would say go Monk all day
But as a player giving advice to another, i need to say, if you’re new to the game or this is first alt, not as good as you would wanna be, you should try paladin first
Paladin pros
- Easy rotation, 2 generators, 2 spenders (one for ST, other for AoE)
- 30 sec cds, meaning you will hit hard every pack no matter what in m+
- community sees ret as an amazing dps, will get invites easly
- has brez
- low skill floor
- a lot of resources to learn since it’s a popular class
Cons
- They are not monks
So in my opinion, you should play paladin, unless you wanna try something different, something that requires more knowledge to the game, since you need to learn when and why you wanna use cds, instead of paladin that just uses everything when they can, since 30sec cds is not even worth holding
