I just resubbed after a long time off. The Panda remix looks kind of fun so figured I’d give it a try.
I have no idea what all of these addons are for. I’m not an anti-addon person but after having been away for so long it took a bit of wind out of my sails when i first logged on.
I’m not offering a solution, just pointing out even for some people who have played the game for years, after enough time off the amount of addons and stuff you have to do when coming back can be off putting.
Addons aren’t required and if you’re a new player or just coming back, they should be the last thing on your mind.
They’re nice to have and they can make the gamer easier/better, but they aren’t necessary.
Simple things like handynotes or tomtom can be pretty useful but they’re not required or anything.
If you’re just coming back, I wouldn’t worry too much about them. Get your bearings, relearn the game and have fun. The addons will still be there when you’ve reacclimated to the game.
If you’re coming back, just get rid of most of them. Everything except what you would consider your core addons. I use a lot of addons for a lot of things. But my only core addon in ElvUI.
Or at least disable until you can slowly work them in based off what you need.
