There’s a lot going on for end game…I’m a bit confused.

So I got lucky and got a heroic Nzoth kill and got the 2h sword but twilight dev but 70 corruption…meaning I can’t use it.

What do I do? Level up my cloak so I can use it? This is a huge item for me but it feels bad I can’t even use it. Is this what WOW has come to, you can’t even use items you get (carried or not :wink: )?

The only ways to handle corruption that high is to either:

  1. don’t use it
  2. level the cloak
  3. remove the corruption (only possible if you have done certain quests in the Heart Chamber)

Yeah, for that particular weapon I would work on just leveling the cloak a bit. Rank 3 twilight Dev will be a pretty decent DPS boost for you. Luckily, they did just recently loosen the requirements to level your cloak up to rank 15, which (i believe) gives you 71 corruption resistance. You can check out the details here:

Luckily, the corruption system will only be with us for the remainder of BFA. It will not be following us into Shadowlands. :slight_smile:
