Hi everyone! I’ve been away for a long time. My husband (ahluhl/he has soooo many alts) and I’s hayday years were cata, and we’ve been in and out of raid progression team guilds and hiatuses off and on through various expansions. I wouldn’t mind joining alt/side groups, but my husband surely would be interested in joining main raid groups. We also would be happy with a guild who is just active in general with events, delves dungeoning, group forming, etc. Just looking for some fun active people to vibe with now that we are getting back into the swing of things!

Fun facts: We are USA - EST - we have day jobs and are most active gaming evenings and weekends. He works from home, and has some flexibility to do /some/ things through the day.

I’m mostly a one trick wonder feral druid, but I’m going to start learning other classes soon because I decided after playing the same character for over 15 years it might be time to finally do something else xD Husband is an altoholic. The Gathering Hall is newly formed, only a month old and already up to 80 members. We’re 8/8 normal and 4/8 heroic in Season 2. We do weekly Mythic+ runs on Mondays and our more serious progression raid times are Tuesday and Saturday 8-11 pm EST. We also have a more open and alt friendly Friday raid also 8-11 pm EST. We have several coupled pairs in the guild as well, and the guild is actually run by a husband and wife team.

We believe in a positive community without toxicity or cliquish behavior. We regularly run lower key nights to help gear members, and will often put together matching armor weights for groups to gear up individuals. Knights of the Alliance is recruiting all people, all specs, all roles, for our raiding, Mythic+, and PvP teams. We are always looking for like minded individuals to join our guild, whether it be for raiding, M+, or just to find a group of individual to hang out with that are like-minded. If you don’t see the day/times that you want to raid on here, hit me up! We work to help raid teams create themselves in our guild. You would have me recruiting for you, leaving you to do what you really want to do, which is lead a raid.

KotA has been around since the early days of Vanilla WoW and we have raiding in every tier since that time, attempting or beating every raid as it was current content. Every so often, as with anyone with a life, we have backed off raiding due to real life events or because an expansion sucked (looking at you BFA). We have consistently been a top ten guild on the server with this last expansion hitting a top five each raid tier. However, as always, our goal has never been to reach these heights, they are just obtainable with the right group of individuals around us. As such, here are the rules for KotA members -

1. We were all prior military. As such, we tend to act like it. We bark orders and we expect things to be done when we say it. But that also includes all the fun stuff. If you were ever in the military, you know exactly what I’m talking about. However, with 4 raid groups, every group is different with different vibes. I highly recommend speaking with the raid leader of that group to understand exactly what the vibes are for that group.
2. We swear. A lot. Actually, an obscene amount. If that hurts your psyche, then we aren’t the guild for you.
3. We are also a family guild. My dad, my mom, my three older brothers, my two little brothers, and my sister all play WoW and are all in this guild. Once upon a time, we also boasted about having my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin all in guild as well. Those familiar relationships tend to grow towards people who join our guild, but especially with those who have been in the military.
4. Because 1 and 3, we also tend to give everyone around us a lot crap. We will trash talk you if you screw up a pull. We give you crap if you fall on the elevator boss. Expect to have a lot of fun while in guild but expect that fun to come at your expense.
5. We are a family. As such, we help each other out. We farm materials if you need to level your professions, we help you out if you are trying to get a specific item, we bring cauldrons, feasts, potions etc. From the moment you join, expect us to treat you as your family would treat you.
6. Which brings me to our final rule - If you sign up for something, we expect you to be there. We understand things come up and we know that real life is far more important that WoW, but we just ask that you give us a heads up if something is happening and you’re gonna be late or won’t be able to show up. We aren’t heartless, you know.

If you’ve made it through the rules for harmonious living in KotA, then you might have a place with us.

We are going to be raiding heroic raids, then switching over to Mythic every raid tier. We currently have five different raids running. Our raid times are Tuesday 4-7PST/7-10EST, Tuesday/Wednesday 5-8 PST/8-11EST, Tuesday/Thursday 6-9PST/9-12EST, Wednesday/Friday 6-9PST/9-12EST, Saturday 5-8 PST/8-11EST. For M+, our guild focuses on getting our guild members through KSM, and then pushing to see how high we can go. We have a guild M+ night on Thursdays (lower- to mid-level keys) and Monday nights (8+ keys).

DDT – Tuesday - 4/8M NP, 3/8H LoU currently not looking for anyone for this group. This raid is a 1-night raid that focuses on AotC then heads into mythic to clear as much as possible
TGM – T/W - 4/8M NP, 3/8H LoU currently looking for a boomkin. All spots are part of a meritocracy and not based on who has been around longest. They ended 6/8M last expansions last tier and pushed into mythic every tier beforehand.
MT6 – W/F - 4/8M NP, 5/8H LoU, currently looking for a boomkin or WW monk. This raid is focused on AotC then getting into mythic ASAP
Unyielding - T/Th, 8/8N 5/8H LoU, 2-3 rdps, going to be heading into mythic in S2. This raid is focused on AotC then mythic
WD - W/Th, 8/8N, 3/8H LoU currently looking for DPS only. This is our newest raid, will be focusing on AotC only
Vibes - S - 8/8N LoU, this raid is for people who can’t commit to a specific time, who like to raid drunk, and alts. This raid always needs a main tank

As I was reading your post all I could think was how much you sound like our main guild philosophy - if you enjoy gaming with other likeminded people, why would the guild ever disband? Here we are, 18 years later (also with Cata being a definite hayday as well!).

We have progression raiding for those inclined, Tues/Thurs 8:45-11:15 EST, and we’re about to start our Alt raid night as soon as this week. The majority of us are also EST, with day jobs and similar schedules as yours. Our Discord server is very active, and we enjoy the community aspect of WoW. We’ve even had 12 annual reunions where 20-25 guildies hang out for a week of board games, bonfires, and fun.
