Currently 110 with legion gear… I was wondering if you guys could give advice on leveling in the current xpac; spec, talents etc?

i think it doesnt matter at all, just play with what you like! thats the point of the game 
Definitely unholy, aoe plagueing things down + epidemic. Frost can’t compare in terms of the sheer aoe death

I found frost easier, but that was my preference, and there’s really not a lot of difference while levelling. Or you could just go Blood, and yolo-pull the entire zone, it just takes ages to kill anything.

My DK will probably hit 120 today. Tried all 3. Generally I felt:
If gear was good, like fresh start or beginning legion with artifacts/heirloom armor, both frost and unholy will shred things. Frost has much better resource management and the cleave doesn’t require setup, while unholy has the ability to range pull and has big cooldowns for larger pulls.
But if your gear slips, eg, once you get into BFA a few levels, then you’re going to have hard time with 3-5 mob pulls in either spec, and even doing pairs DS won’t heal you back up to where you started. So once you’re a few levels deep in BFA, I would switch to Blood. The cleave is automatic with DnD on the ground so the damage is fine, but the sustain and survivability are much, much better for big pulls. I regret sticking with frost/unholy for as long as I did, I kept hoping I would get to killing power I had from 101-110 and it never happened.

Thanks for the replies all. I’ve always liked the idea of Unholy but thinking I might do Blood to level.
DK is legit the only class in the game that I genuinely love all three specs for it. I think current game mechanics Frost is easier to level with but the other two certainly are good as well.
Blood and unholy are god tier leveling… i wss able to make huge pulls 6-10 mobs and just melt/aoe cleave them down as unholy.
I just did this leveling process on my new dk ult. Took 28h 55-120. I did blood for questing and dungeons. Then unholy at 110, super easy leveling experience I recommend that way. Save all your professions and stuff for 120
