I was last in world in 2017. I can’t seem to find my characters, mounts and equipment. I haven’t gotten a response back from Blizzard. I left everything in Proudmoore. I don’t think that I have more than one account. I hope that someone can help me.

Include as much info as possible about the characters - name, class, level, etc.

If you haven’t already, actually log into the Proudmoore server. If you’ve been gone a while, the server select screen will forget your characters and you need to actually select the server you think they are on to update it.

I started a new tune in Proudmoore. I believe my main character was a Warlock named Ollitoc. I really don’t believe that I have more than one account. I had a triple bypass surgery and just never got back on. It would be nice to have my stuff back. At the risk of sounding really stupid, Signing into the Proudmoore realm is actually the server right? Thanks for your help.
If you created a new character on the server, you were on the server.
So, if your characters weren’t there, there are a few possibilities I can think of.
- You are on the wrong account. It can be pretty easy to accidentally end up with extra free licenses under your main battle.net account. On the launcher above the big “play” button, if you have more than one account there will be a drop down menu to select with one you want. Being on the wrong battle.net account is also possible, but it’s less likely you’d forget creating multiple battle.net accounts.
- You are remembering your server incorrectly. The link Nok gave you would be where to start to check on this.
- Your account was hacked while you were gone and characters were transfered/deleted. This is far more likely if you didn’t have an authenticator on your account. Again, posting in customer support to track down the characters on the account could help you dig around and see if other stuff seems amiss. From there, you’d need to put in tickets to try and have your account restored.
Edit: The character you are posting on is on Proudmoore. Are you not seeing them when you log in? That makes me strongly suspect the problem is #1.
Thank You so much for your help. It’s ok if I can’t find them too. Forgot how fun it is to do quests = and the excitement of leveling up to get new
stuff. I’m a 57 year old kid.

What happened? Where is Northrend and Dalaran? My gosh, these quests are endlessly boring! I’m stuck grinding in some place called Oribos and The Maw. It’s not scary, it’s not malevolent. It’s stupid. The purpose is so far removed from what I’m doing that it becomes irrelevant. After a couple hundred purposeless fights, who cares anymore? Fend for yourself, I’m out!! Nooo, go find some more anima, go back to the Maw and rescue things that apparently don’t matter because something else always needs to be rescued after. Crap, Blizzard. This is crap. Whoever said, “This will be great,” needs to be fired! Dance with the one that brought you!
