Seals
If seals are coming back I don’t want them as an active ability to swap them wasting a gcd literally like inquisition which was reason why inquisition was hated.
I’d rather have them activate after using abilities or sequential of abilities. Kinda sone ideas I had before
One thing that could be interesting regarding seals is if they had a short duration, let’s say we have 3 seals that lasts for 15 seconds. Each one would have a different benefit. To give an idea they could be something like this; damage increase, additional holy power generated through abilities, your next holy power spender is free.
Now we could remove the cooldown on crusader strike and blade of justice, and add a new generating ability; for our demonstration let’s say Vengeance’s Blade, could be dealing holy damage with a short range like 12yards closely resembling blade of justice or an aoe holy power generator.
Now, to activate each seals you must sequence your abilities in a certain way.
Seal A requires Crusader Strike then Blade of Justice then Vengeance’s Blade to activate.
Seal B requires Blade of Justice, Vengeance’s Blade then Crusader Strike.
Seal C requires Vengeance’s Blade, Blade of Justice then Crusader Strike.
That way we have to min max the entire rotation, keeping it fresh and interesting without wasting gcd doing nothing or for a passive buff, it is now the core strength of the entire spec resolving the gameplay rotation around keeping these seals up using sequential holy power generator.
What’s fun is it would be a fast paced rotation, still allows for overflowing holy power to 5, min maxing the rotation, and sounds engaging to play.
But even then I would like something else than seals
