I cannot post links due to the forum changes and losing post history; however, my logs go back to Antorus.
A Not So Brief History
I started raiding when ToT came out. I swapped to Alliance which was more active on my realm, found a guild who was pugging a spot that night for normal, and didn’t look back. That tier, we worked to progress as far as we could, finally slaying Megaera the night before SOO was due to be released. We kept pushing into SOO, but a system crash meant we lost one of our key members and without a backup roster, we separated ways. I moved to another guild on the server where we progressed to 13/14, not able to kill Garrosh before the WoD pre-patch hit and the raid was nerfed.
In WoD, the first team and I tried to recreate our group and scale it up for the new 20m requirement, but unfortunately, we could not gain momentum in Highmaul. I went to Proudmoore and found a new guild that I stuck with with BRF and HFC, falling short of the final Cutting Edge kill. We kept the moment going into EN and I was finally able to get a Cutting Edge achievement.
Partway through Nighthold, the guild leadership changed and the team lost steam. After playing through so many tiers with the group, I decided to take a break and came back shortly before ABT came out. Being in the market for a new guild, I was trying to find a team of like-minded individuals, but fell short. Some friends and I attempted to make our own team which did not end well. Ultimately, I only made it to 6/11M in Antorus before the team disbanded during the content drought.
Starting in BFA, I swapped back to Alliance and tried to raid with a friends and family guild on my disc priest. Unfortunately, the team and I do not share the same progression mindset. Whereas their endgoal is AOTC, I would like to keep pushing into mythic and beyond.
