I like how you omitted Normally when you quoted me. They did it "onceâ before in the first expansion where they seen numbers drop.
Kind of backs up the fact itâs a move in desperation to try and claim players back when things arenât doing so hot.
They have offered it many times and all the past expansions are rolled into the base now for free. The Scroll of Resurrection is an old program that had the boosts, expansions, etc, that was one instance but you can google the rest if you want.
I get it, you want to think this is new and indicative of something.
I showed you them doing it in 2012 with even more rewards. That was part of a program that ran for many many years across expansions.

might want to throw in a disclaimer that the current content is only for group players specifically those who do non queued content. So any solo or open worlders dont accidentally spend the money then go chasing chargebacks
edit - i suppose there may be some who would actually want to play korthia and the maw?

They really do need to make this clear, maybe have a season 4 highlights that tells exactly what has been updated in season 4.
at the very least they should throw in some hint that this time around there is no âcatch up gearâ. A fresh player is going to be doing the leveling, normal dungeons, heroic dungeons, lfr/m0 grind before they can move into any actual content they want to do.
Basically the big slog but with most players either burned out/not logging in or doing the high end stuff that these new players cant access

im sorry to say but blizz theres not enough catchup mechanics for sadowlands last patch. its not easy to just jump back in for 9.0 leaver folks.
i can speak from experience, i left 9.0 but struggled through till the bitter end to get flying, gear, covenants renown/anima, and legendries. both zm and the others are brutal.

ok so unity is a 2 hour questline and you can boost immediately to 60 renown and unlock all your slots.
if u need a specific soulbind dude sure you gotta do a little bit of the questline or the full thing but realistically thereâs not much.
returning players or new players just donât know what to do first or prioritize in terms of catching up.
gotta open zm.
get gear to do zm.
get revered with zm.
torghas to get the required things for the lege.
gotta get a lege base item which is insanley high.
theres enough to make a daunting mountain out of a last patch for zero reason. treading through old water just to get some fresh stuff aint fun.
opening zm takes 10 minutes bro what, you donât need to be revered unless u want the 291 leggo (which realistically you donât if youâre returning or new)
join a group thatâs farming rares â ask for 2 seater flying mount â get the rares â bang flying

for the bud he was a once mythic + friend. he wanted the top end stuff. imagine having a 261 leggo belt when the mythic 0 drops 262 belts.

tbh, i was in zm today an it was ghost zone. no rare shout outs at all.
u just join the custom groups for the rares. the concept isnât really a âconceptâ itâs what everyone does to farm rares
if ur buddy wants the top end gear theyâll do the work for it tho, to be fair i think the revered 291 part is redic but at least you only need to do it once

I stand by my thought and say that this is the easiest season in history to gear an alt or a fresh toon. This character was a fresh 60 at the beginning of this season.
