The Opera Hall: Westfall Story in Return to Karazhan seems to be bugged, even removing all my gear and slowly dpsing the boss down doesn’t seem to fix it. Boss just stays fighting at 1%.

It’s only been 3 years, they’ll get to it one day.
Apparently now the way to beat it is to quickly AOE everything down instead of the old slowly-kill-em method. Doesn’t seem to be 100% success rate but definitely worked for most people a few weeks ago when this segment was up.
Edited to add:
I’ve tried every combination of fast, slow, kill order, etc, and he still stays alive at 0%.
On the upside, I did figure out how to reset the fight on my DH so don’t have to force quit anymore. If you keep double jumping and gliding into the railing near the entry door a few times, he runs away and when he gets far enough away, the door opens.
Edit: Finally beat it after like 15 resets. Have to get him to 0 before he kneels.
I just completed the boss with 2 different level 70 alts. Just nuked the human defias first, then the murloc. No issues, worked perfectly!

You shouldn’t have to be max level to solo an 8 year old instance.
