Heres the situation: Nightbane, Return to Karazhan, that mount appears to no longer be attainable? Can anyone confirm this? I only just recently came back to WOW to where I was high enough level to solo it. It appears that the normal line of events that happens does not take place in this raid anymore, such as the message you get when you start the raid, the buffs you get, etc. Nothing. No matter what I set it on, Normal, Mythic, it makes the raid heroic. I set it to mythic, it says mythic on the difficulty settings inside the raid and once I exit still says mythic, but in the raid I get heroic gear, none of the Nightbane related things happen EXCEPT for the crystals.
So is this normal? Is it just removed now? Or is the raid actually broken? I can assure you that 1. I’ve been up all night looking through every resource to make sure I’m not doing something wrong and 2. I’ve tried on many characters and it’s the same thing. It just doesn’t seem to actually load the mythic raid and drop mythic loot, or do any of the nightbane related things, no buffs, nothing. What the heck!?
There’s a raid entrance (front)
And a mythic dungeon entrance (right side)
You probably are entering the raid, which doesn’t have nightbane event.
You need to go around the right side and fly up to the dungeon entrance.
Note: if you are doing it solo, it’s only 20% chance btw.

Can you only summon Nightbane in mythic mode? The reason I ask is, if he’s only summoned in that mode, I wouldn’t worry about the loot.
Also, Return to Karazhan isn’t a raid so make sure you are going through the right door and you’re setting the dungeon, not raid, to mythic.

Im a complete moron. Feel free to delete this hahaha. Unless you wanna keep it up to help someone avoid what I did: ITS A DUNGEON, NOT A RAID. Yeah. I was putting Raid on mythic, not dungeon. I obviously knew it was a 5 person but, it just didn’t hit me that it was actually classified as a dungeon. I never played Legion and then did classic until just coming back to wow this month so, sorry for wasting anyones time on this, I feel soooo stupid! Good news is, found a friend to run me and 3rd try got the mount!
