Return to CLASS HALL patch?

WoW should have a patch dedicated to return of class halls and character customization.

There should be like a quest line that leads back to level appropriate and updated class halls, that come complete with a ton of cool class specific customizations you can earn from them. Even more, maybe they could be upgrade-able with currency from current new areas to allow for improving looks, adding amenities, etc.

They should come with a ton of cool weapon transmogs, armor sets, alternate skill appearances that you can earn for solo challenges, etc.

For example, there could be a challenge involving Chaos Bolt in some way and that allows warlocks to earn the old appearance for Chaos Bolt (green dragon head).

Even more cool maybe this patch could allow for updating of mob levels and world quest levels in areas like say Zuldazar or Drustvar, amazing visually impressive and immersive areas that are now just sitting there, empty and rotting away, unused despite being so awesome. Imagine if we could go back there and there would be PvP objectives and cool world quests to do that would reward you with actually expansion useful stuff.

I’m not developer but if this was up to me, this would be TOP priority. THIS is what this game needs, more character customization, solo challenges, class halls, and return of fan favorite areas for WQ or outdoor fun - heck that could even be on a weekly rotation to not spread everyone too thin.

Think about it Blizz!

I loved class halls so much, I still go to the Druid one whenever I play him, just to do mission boards.

Bit by bit, because there’s a lot…

Return to class halls, in general: Play a DK? You’ll return there every time you get a weapon. Beyond that, what are you really asking for? Constant questing? New quests, obviously, because most of the playerbase aren’t going back there for daily quests. Current expansion rewards? They’d have to be actually needed, otherwise most people are still gonna stick with the new content. There are times it can make sense to send the players back, but it can’t be forced. If most people wanted to spend time in their class halls… they would.

Solo challenges. Yep, sure. All for it. Or small group challenges, like the hivemind. Or puzzles, like the BFA cat that took 2 years? for the community to solve. Or brawlers guild, please more brawlers guild.

A challenge to give chaos bolt an old appearance? Green, which you could unlock through green fire quest? Nope. Waste of development time. Could just as easily be a glyph, since it only affects one spell and only in a very slight cosmetic way.

Updating / maintaining the relevancy of old zones (zulzadar, drustvar, anywhere) by adding pvp objectives and world quests… like the ones that are already there? Except with current resources as the rewards… Again, like the class order halls, people aren’t gonna do that. “Oh sure, I’ll just fly over to stormsong valley because I can get 20 primal chaos from doing a WQ I did 4 years ago” [Not that it exists anymore, I guess] As for the PvP objectives… Well, again, there are WQs with PvP objectives. But why? You think they can artificially create faction conflict across the whole game and indefinitely by… adding some objectives? Not a chance.

More character customization, like the ability to fully customize your dragonriding mount, or the new talent system which allows for actual build diversity for the first time, at least since Cataclysm [Your specific spec might not have much variation. That is content, not system.]

Return of fan favourite areas… In some cases [BRAWLERS GUILD, BLIZZ] it makes sense, and it works well as a bit of side content. But for zones, they are better off trying to create something new, rather than just scaling up a bit of old content. Timeless isle was a lot of fun. Scaling it to be current content would feel cheap, forced and lazy. Creating a new version of Timeless Isle gives them the chance to change things, for better or worse.
