I’m torn tbh. Not having to hunt for weapons will always be a positive in my books. But, seeing 8000 Ashbringers and 8000 Doom Hammers every day was weird. And it also limits us from interesting, unique weapons, like Jaethys.

They drained the power from them at the end of Legion, so it’s not going to happen. Plus bringing back AP would not be a good thing.

They somewhat forgot some of them somehow as the Resto Shaman one was used by Azshara in BFA.
I would like this. I enjoyed the Artifact weapons from Legion, and thought it brought some neat variations. I would like if they redid the way we got artifact power and the myriad of hoops to jump through to get the variants, however.

I miss artefact weapons.
They were the most fun thing in wow.
They even had me doing pvp for the appearances.
Nothing has captured me as much in the game as them.

You did that back then. Highest ilvl in all slots with ideal stats to reach certain breakpoints = BiS.

Not sure what you’re saying. I was saying that making a BIS list each season and farming for it being the only part of gearing was what I liked years ago. Forgive me if I misread what you were saying.
I wouldn’t mind it but I’d like there to be a lot more skins. Maybe not do an artifact weapon but just weapon in general we can power up. I don’t know how they would do it without AP. Also the relic system was nice but when you have two good relics and can’t get a third one it was frustrating

i’d love it. the fact i didn’t have to roll the rng dice every week in hopes of finally getting a weapon upgrade was the best, and working to make it more powerful each week sweetened the deal.

Nooooooooooooooooo. DO NOT LOCK ME TO A CERTAIN WEAPON TYPE. I hate being limited to transmog of certain weps.
I’d love for them to come back and never leave 
this is why i keep suggesting they unlock transmogging’s types to where you can xmog any weapon type and any type of armor with each other. Rift had a great “costume” xmog system!

Instead of the artifacts, which according to cannon are pretty useless now anyway, they could make race / class themed weapons with little mini quests.
Kinda of like the dark iron stuff. That was fun.
