Multiple ways to make a 3.1 cast - 1.6… the problem is the multiple ways require set up and luck.

You need to crit on your opening as or you’re going to have a 2.6 nuke that doesn’t have a crit chance bonus. Even with 80% boost, it’s still a 34 spell.

So it’s not exactly scary unless it crits… even then it’s not scary compared to other casters. 1300 crit wooo weee… our competition can hit harder without the set up.

I’ve noticed running through your target and turning around real quick greatly increases your chance of hitting it, getting pretty consistent at hitting through Evasion as well.

Yeah that is why I am surprised. I swear I sit on boomkins because I don’t want them to slink off in travel form!

Locks: have multiple instant cast dots and just cast a life steal on you.

Mage: Has an instant cast root, instant cast blink, and then can free cast.

Did you think any of that through?

Balance is mid pack if you don’t filter by 90+%…

Yeah if you don’t know what you’re doing struggling specs look better.

My guess is that he hit the balance link on Warcraftlogs then forgot to or didn’t know to filter. Now he’s just trying to make excuses instead of apologizing.

Funny part is that’s what druids said in 2005 too.

Isn’t that a druids whole shtick? Kite, root, stun, heals, dots, starsurge can still keep up pressure for little mana, etc.

People just need to research a class before hopping on the Fotm train.

Shh. Has nothing to do with FotM. I’m still playing Druid. People can point out issues with the class.

The issue now is many classes can circumvent roots. So you’re saying I should spend at least 3 seconds double rooting (because everyone can break) at minimum to keep someone off while having no real means to pressure them with damage?

Because even after I finish double rooting, I still have to heal then dps.

Please don’t comment on classes you don’t play or understand.

druids have an amazing talent that roots anyone meleeing you, but of course that doesn’t count cuz it doesn’t work indoors right? :expressionless:

Yes? Should the rooted class have to sit in a full duration root to watch you heal back to full? Just stand there and wait for you to cast some spells. Imagine having to actually put in a little effort for a kill.

You ever see a mage sheep, then immediately start casting sheep again in case of trinket? That’s how it works, you gotta actually use your noodle sometimes instead of relying on 1 shots.

The issue is a lot of classes can MOVE and DPS. They play keep away.

Druids be like ‘red light green light’ except they keep going. Though if these changes that were posted and then deleted are true, then it might not be as bad an issue. We’ll see.

80-90 percentiles are the people who know the class, the gear, and the rotation, that’s why it should be used to accurately reflect what the class can do by a competent player. You seem to be extremely bad at filtering the logs yourself, so feel free to message me if you want any help, as balance druids are far and away the worst caster after frost mages and are not nearly middle of the pack.
