Even if 1% of the playerbase is capable of playing at that level? That’s not how things work lol. You never balance around 1% of players, you balance around the majority. That’s why Blizzard will offer no further buffs to balance, a MIDPACK spec.
The problem with bad analogies like this one is that they’re bad.
Nope, incorrect.
You need to show what the MAJORITY of players are doing, not what 5% of the player base is doing.
Bear stun, root, travel form kite, heals, consumables, probably missing something. Point is druids have a decent kit to deal with enemies, you guys just want to sit back and nuke people with no effort.
Everyone is dying with 2 people on them as well, druids aren’t the only ones suffering. Enjoy being a ranged class.
I wish Blizzard knew how to nerf classes JUST in PvP, and left PvE well enough alone. Oh wait…they do that on retail all the time. Non-druid dpsers be like “Oh heck yeah, I get to be #1 now, see those details baby, my time is now!”
I’m all well and good for a nerf in PvP, but when it affects PvE, it sucks. This game is primarily PvE.
ya some would probably try and counter that it takes mana to shift forms but i do believe that natural shapeshifter is in the balance tree as well right?
You’re just a complete and utter moron. Hardly worth my time but since you clearly cannot read and do not know how logs work, i’ll entertain you for a couple minutes here.
Yes I do. Check my logs on my druid before spouting nonsense like this. I’ve consistently been a 99+ percentile player across multiple expansions. If you cannot agree that balancing should be done based on what a spec is capable of vs. balancing around first time players, clickers and other completely lost players then I just cannot help you.
More proof that you are just an illiterate troll. Nice try though.
Wrong again. See above.
See above again.
Just go away man you contribute nothing but negativity to these threads.
I did. You have an 83 average parse for Gnomer. And if we sort by the 80th percentile, that puts balance at… MIDPACK. Funny how that works.
Your bad analogy has nothing to do with literacy. It’s the logic that’s flawed. It’s a false equivalency which is why it is easily dismissed. This is why we don’t rely on bad analogies.
Nope, I am absolutely correct. Sorry, but this game is for EVERYONE, not just people who can parse at a 99% average.
If you view facts, data, and logic as negative, this just goes to show that your position is not grounded in any sort of objective reality, which is exactly why Blizzard has continued to ignore this.
Bear stun = 1 min CD and misses 50% of the time. Not to mention it costs nearly 10% of our mana to shift into bear.
Root = also 1 min CD (unless you are talking about hard casting a root with unlimited pushback. Easily dispelled.
Other class damage in PVP clearly need to be looked at as well. All I am stating is that the starsurge nerfs were over done and are impacting us in PVE and PVP.
having to use mana to shift forms? OH NO! (btw ya natural shapeshifter is in balance tree.)
you can make distance to cast roots in travel form!
but ya that requires moving and you seem adverse to that.
every other caster almost has to hard cast in pvp.
thats why theres melee pressure to get spells off cause otherwise it would be nothing melee can do against casters and it would be a joke of balance.
like i said . you have to rethink how you play now and are obviously having trouble with people having a chance vs you instead of it being a forgone conclusion in your favor.
I have multiple 99s and kill bombs on last boss. Impossible to average 99 overall if filling this role. Plus, this is one char. I’ve been in 99th percentile on multiple classes in Classic, TBC and WOTLK. Still completely missing the point that balancing should never be done based on mid-pack players.
Dispute the analogy. How is it bad?
Never said it wasn’t. I said balancing should be based on what a spec is capable of, not what an unexperienced player is capable of.
You’ve provided no facts, no real data and zero logic. Done with you now. Go troll another thread.
