Idiotic clip against idiotic players, the dmg is silly nobody will disagree with that but nobody with a few functioning neurones lets something like this happen.
Remember back in Bfa how ret was labeled the 17hund stomper? Looks like SL took it to a new level.

Idk man I mean it’s not like it’s a giant glowing cow with vengeance shield/beserking/seraphim/power infusion and other buffs is walking towards enemies while 2 warlocks are just casting drain life on w/e.
Again, the dmg is stupid, it shouldn’t exist but the people not doing anything about it are worse. This doesn’t happen if people actually pay attention, who doesn’t tunnel rets wth is this video?

I mean yeah its a bg and people are dumb for not paying attention or whatver, but accidentally globaling 4 people with ranged abilities because you got to press 1234 whilst waddling around is clearly dumber. Ret burst is almost as reprehensible as eating taco bell whilst sober and in your 30’s.

rets definitely need some kind of nerf, but their damage is the most telegraphed thing and the last reason you should lose to them.
I’m also pretty sick of people linking clips of fully geared rets killing people in 200 ilvl like it’s the normal state of the game.

a ret did this to me the other day in the 1 millisecond between his dmg breaking blinding sleet and his partner’s dragon stun landing
it was buffed by dark arch but i was in d stance, so the net effect is very roughly gonna be the same as if i was 100% hp in battle stance
30k or whatever top end final verdict is only fine if the gcds they press to build it aren’t 80-120% of a healthbar on their own lol
imagine if warbreaker or ghostly strike hit as hard as final reckoning hits lol

The dmg can be stupid when rng happens, everyone agrees with that lol, I’m just sick of people posting those dumb bg videos.
I guess in blizavision’s mind it’s easier to just let rng 1 shots and weird 30k crits happen instead of actually addressing the spec’s problems.

i think it’s bad faith to assume anyone posts mes clips to say anything about aoe dmg/double kills, tho if someone is then yeah they’re dumb
beefdaddyx clips to me just represent the same thing as clips of hots topping himself from 2% or rynd dancing in bear form. the spec on display is stupid, and it seems silly to me to nitpick the gameplay on display when the headline(in this case, crit rng and clarity rng lets ret have a fighting chance at an absurd 100-0 every 60 seconds with seraphim being the only setup gcd(and seraphim lasting so long that instantly reacting to it with any cd is as likely to waste your stuff as blunt the ret go))
some good faith is deserved i think, everyone’s died to convoke or toll this season and the complaints are valid even if you remain aware that most games aren’t ended that way

There are valid complaints about the spec but you always see those 3 or 4 same folks stating ret is “omg broken qweqwe impossible NANI it ruined pvp” and then the same 2 folks spam that stupid video.
It’s kind of annoying.
