Retribution Paladin's "Vanguard's Momentum" Talent bugged with New 10.1 Set

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue that have encountered. This pertains to the Retribution Paladin’s talent, “Vanguard’s Momentum”, in conjunction with the new 10.1 set.

The talent “Vanguard’s Momentum” typically grants the ability to stack two charges of the Hammer of Wrath. However, we have noticed that upon equipping the new 10.1 set and obtaining the 4-set bonus, the charges of Hammer of Wrath reduce from two layers to just one. This situation significantly impacts the performance and playstyle of the Retribution Paladin.

From our understanding, the 4-set bonus should not influence the number of charges from the “Vanguard’s Momentum” talent. This unexpected behavior appears to be a bug, rather than an intended interaction between the talent and the new set.Given the importance of this talent for many Retribution Paladin builds, this issue has a significant impact on the class’s performance and playability. Therefore, we kindly request you to look into this matter and address this bug as soon as possible.

Luckily this wont affect me until 3-4 weeks after the catalyst drops. Since my luck in rolls in the raid are just THAT awful. Our first night we got 7/9 down and my only drop was a wrist item…probably wanted me to equip it so I had a harder time slashing my own.

Fixed today:

Paladin
Retribution

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Heartfire Sentinel’s Authority 4-Set to consume 2 charges of Hammer of Wrath while talented into Vanguard’s Momentum.
  • Hammer of Wrath’s additional targets provided by Heartfire Sentinel’s Authority 4-Set now ignores targets that are not in combat with the Paladin or are under the effects of crowd control that breaks on damage.

I feel your pain. I didn’t win a single piece of loot and my guild downed 7 bosses as well.

Finally rolled a 92 on a two handed sword I really wanted but a guildie DK won it with a 98.

Don’t worry our time to get loot will come.

That hurts. Ouch.

Years ago, I got a roll of 98 or 99, someone beat me by getting 100. Talk about being p!$$ed.
