Rethelshi no longer sells primal storm gear?

Well, the day Blizzard makes sense will be the same day there is a snowball fight in hell.

I would like to thank all the Chudleys in this thread.

Why go and change something that makes absolutely no difference? What was the issue with buying the epic versions of the gear right next to the vendor who sells the rare versions?

It’s so frustrating that they are too busy fiddling with stupid stuff like rare icons on the map instead of fixing bugs on stuff that actually MATTERS.

So u can no longer buy the 385 gear with storm sigils? u buy the 359 gear with elemental overflow and upgrade them with storm sigils now?

idk still trying to figure that out

Do u know if these are permanent changes or if its all broken atm and i should hold off spending anything on it

wait until after the patch this morning

why spam all that when it is outdated info.

there was no intelligent thought behind that - are you sure?

Well, part of the price for the 385 was the 359 item + the sigils. So on table seems the same deal. But some reports (I haven’t tried it yet) tell of inconsistencies and errors in the transaction.

The downside to the “new” change: You have to leave the room to complete the whole transaction. Everything was there already: 1) the sigil quest giver; 2) the required lower ilvl gear vendor, and; 3) back to the quest giver who also sold the higher ilvl items. So why break this convenience to make it a longer transportation requirement, specially if you will keep the quest giver in the same place, still giving the quest and collecting the sigils? I just went to the PVP upgrade guy. Didn’t see any way to upgrade gear to storm gear.

It’s Corxian, the item upgrade guy, all the way back of the room of the dummies. Seems working for me, thou can’t complete upgrade till I get more sigils in a few minutes.

oh that was a typo!

So i was able to upgrade before maint. this morning but i got a new piece and it says it can no longer be upgraded now
why even bother taking it off the vender if its just gonna break

A perfectly fine system replaced with a new system with no/minimal warning.

While bugs continue to exist and have existed for ages.

Sounds about right.

The theory is that Blizz disabled that transaction because it was bugged, not charging sigils for upgrades. And no one gets free upgrades from Blizzard, no one.

You’re asking “why change anything”, since Blizzard can’t change anything without a serious risk of bugging it.

Nothing you described works anymore.

Just tried ol’ Corky with a shoulder from the 359 vendor: “This item cannot be upgraded”.

They do not upgrade.

Yup not working for me
