Retail WoW would benefit from Chromie Timewalking options for OG vanilla world and dungeons

Had a blast returning to Deadmines in Classic Era and SoD.

Thought, I’ll run it in retail too should be a blast. Oh, wait, no, Deadmines was remade as were so many vanilla dungeons. Such a shame.

If the option existed in Retail to toggle on the OG vanilla game world and original dungeons, I would use it. And I would likely never bother with any ‘era’ server at all.

Anyway, just a thought. Such a shame all these original things were remade without any option to toggle on the originals for replay.

Edit/Update: And this further cements my ‘why bother returning to Azeroth’ (Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms) in retail. Every time I decide to try its a reminder of what was taken away but never granted as a toggle option.

Back to SoD I go. Until they end that. /sigh

There is a way in-game to do the original Scarlet Monastery.

It may be possible to restore zones to their original state. It would likely work on a zone-by-zone basis like the current time-changing zones. I personally don’t see them doing it at the moment (never say never). It would take manpower away from story/game progression.
