Was curious as to why the cost to purchase WoW Tokens has not been lowered in auction house, since the loot to sell has been lowered by level adjustment. Shouldn’t that be adjusted to lower purchase as the now lower amount of gold you make has been changed?
The WoW token price is based on the demand for gold. That is, Blizzard uses an algorithm to balance the amount of gold that some people are willing to spend $20 to purchase versus the amount of gold others are willing to spend in order to get $15 in Blizzard bucks. There really isn’t a direct correlation between the gold cost of individual loot items to the cost of the WoW token.
