Can we please get the multi-core support in Classic?

No.

Why wouldn’t you want that feature added? It doesn’t change the gameplay, it just allows the game to run better on modern systems.

Nope.

How are you having a problem running classic on modern systems…

It probably already has it since it’s just the modern engine running old data.

I’m not having any issues running it in Winblows, but in a AMD Hackintosh it doesn’t run as well as it could with this feature.
System Specs:
| AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 3.5 GHz 16-Core Processor
| Thermaltake Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition 42.34 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
| MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard
| Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
| Samsung PM951 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
| Samsung 960 EVO 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
| Corsair MP600 Force Series Gen4 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
| Sapphire Radeon VII 16 GB Video Card
| Thermaltake View 71 TG RGB ATX Full Tower Case
| EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified 1500 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
| Dell D2719HGF 27.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor
| Dell D2719HGF 27.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor
| Corsair K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE Wired Gaming Keyboard

so you wanna go from 400fps to 425…lol get out of here.

In Winblows I get 400+ FPS but in Hackintosh I only get 45 fps max and that’s with using Classic preset settings. In retail on the same Hackintosh I get 125+ FPS because of the new multi-core feature added to the client.

Don’t run it in a hackintosh.

Problem solved.

Thats not the point, I am simply asking to have the same client feature that was added to retail to be added to Classic, nothing more.

Sure it is. You’re having performance issues. That is the solution.

But if the client had the multi-core feature I wouldn’t be having this performance issue.

WoW Classic is based off the same executable as the retail version. This is NOT the fifteen year old vanilla client.

Problem: It doesn’t run well in your hackintosh.

Solution: Don’t run it in the hackintosh.

Asking the company to change their entire client so you can run the game a little faster on an unsupported platform is extremely stupid.

Blizzard says “no”.

No WoW Classic client is based off Legion Client right before BFA was added.

What exactly is the allure of trying to make the game work on an operating system it doesn’t work very well on?

Especially since you seem to have access to an operating system it does run well on?

Wouldn’t change their entire client.

I talked to blizzard. They said “no”.

You don’t know that is the problem. It could be from something completely different.
