BfA wasn’t very good, but at least we’re not Star Wars fans that had to bear witness to that atrocity called The Last Jedi that absolutely trashed their series, destroyed all legacy characters, and is now looking at the possibility of bombing at the box office with episode IX.
Retail WoW still has a future ahead of it. The confidence in players is still good enough that we’ll try out the next expansion.
The golden ages of 12 million subs may be over, but there’s still hope for the WoW renaissance

I’ve never seen a Star Wars film and I feel happy about that these days.

Watching commentary about it on YouTube, it’s a complete and utter horror show.
It got so bad after The Last Jedi no one wanted to take over as CEO of Lucasfilm

Did you make this thread just so you can argue about Star Wars?

Bfa has been okay, sailor related stuff is pretty boring to me so I ended up playing more horde than I have since cata. Love seeing Bwonsamdi some more. But yeah not the greatest, not the worst.
I still have faith in the future of WoW, I still think the writing is OKay (though again. Not the greatest) and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next

BfA is just Legion-lite.
That’s not an insult, even if it means it’s technically a half-step backwards, it’s me saying BfA gets a lot of undeserved criticism from burnt out players who didn’t make the same criticisms during Legion.
That isn’t to say it doesn’t have its own unique issues, of course, but the game is still very playable with solid classes and content.

I’m just saying, it could always be worse.
I’ve tried to enjoy the Kul’tiras quests but I have the same issue. The trolls are just way more interesting to me.
I didn’t understand where all the hate was coming from on BfA since I enjoyed the leveling from 110 to 120. But once I got to the end and realized just how… RNG saturated the end game gets if you want to compete in PVP later, it’s quite painful and frustrating.
You’re missing out. Watch episodes 3-6. They’re worth it. Screw the rest.

You can safely consider my opinion to be that of a PvE-minded player. Historically, I’ve spent about 2 weeks per expansion doing any amount of PvP.
BfA is ok in my book for one reason alone.
I got me self a dashing pirate hat. Yarrrrg.
I really believe the game just needs an engine update or a sequel. I don’t think there’s too much more that they can do with a game that is 14 years old.

Bfa feels terrible to play for me, but the cinematics are awesome. Also the scaling system makes levelling from 0 to 110 really good. As for levelling from 110 to 120, at least timewalking dungeons give alot of XP… Honestly my favorite part of bfa is that one day it will end. But I would take an eternity of bfa over a week in classic…
Ohh and i’m also excited for the new party sync system
blizz is just lucky people can pay for NEXT xpack with gold (BFA too)
cause if it was $$$ only, i bet they would be in trouble haha

I think it’s BECAUSE it is Legion Lite that people have an issue with it. Instead of expanding upon a system that, while not perfect, worked fairly well overall…they basically gutted it, slapped some Azerite Armor together and called it good.
This “system” is rather uninteresting, and the resources required to design it could have been used much more in other areas. They also added unnecessary layers of RNG to many aspects of BfA which makes it feel rather unrewarding sometimes. RNG itself isn’t an issue. Too much of it is.

How confident are you in this statement?
BfA is fantastic. Eyegasmic!
I will say that I like having Trolls in the spotlight for once and getting a chance to delve into the history of Azeroths true first-civilization.
