Why are we being forced with retail Ui but my character still can’t get a haircut?

Oh you don’t use edit mode? Or plan to use the new raid frames? Are you saying you’re going to be using addons instead?
Is there an option to turn these off? Because if I missed it then that’s on me

I use edit mode to switch between my ultra wide 4k monitor and my laptop. it’s AMAZINGLY handy.
I use classic UI, nameplates, etc. the new plates are OPTIONAL. In fact, there is like 6 different options.

ok, the fact there is not option to turn these off which are retail things, means they are Forcing us to use them, just because its handy dosent mean anything.
The new frames are optional? where can i revert them back to before the update? like i said if i missed it then ok.

no one is forcing you to use edit mode.
it’s in the options area. I’m sure you’ll find them.

uh you do realize that option to change style is also a RETAIL thing, also you basically dont play with anything other then addons so you wouldnt know what im talking about as i like the bare bones of classic tbc look

I could customize my raid frames as well, when edit mode wasn’t shoved down my throat, now I have to use edit mode to do so.. It’s FORCED. DOWN. MY. THROAT.

Youre comparing addons to the actual game, you arnt being forced because you already dont play the game with normal features. you use a bunch of addons.
Exactly, and there’s nothing wrong with people using addons, but even if I use addons for everything but like… 1 thing (raid frames) I STILL need edit mode. You may be right about him now that I think of it.
I hate the raid frames, and there is no way to make it like original tbc. The frames were originally vertical by group in a column with seperation between groups, now you can only make them vertical its 1 group per column with 5 columns across the screen instead of 2 columns for 25 man. I just have to hide the frames now cause they take up to much prime real estate.

i use addons as well, i was just pointing out using addons does not mean the new features arnt there. He made it seem like using addons was masking the problem. I dont use frame addons so yea the new updated midnight slop is definetly forced.
you REALLY need to look up what “forced” means.

I think youre leaning too much on the word forced for your blizzard defense, anyone who enjoys the game as it was understands what im talking about.
