Maybe he should find another job then if this is true. The azerite system is still trash. It got better but its still garbage. Not sure whos idea it was to grind traits you already have a second time. Many completely unbalanced traits or borderline useless traits that have nearly no impact. Dungeon design resulting in keys highly favoring melee dps. Class balance and design issues.
Must I be bad-intentioned or “trolling” to criticize retail? I think you just want to ignore everything you don’t like to hear about your game.
You certainly don’t have to be, of course.
That doesn’t mean you’re not though.
I’ve criticized retail for numerous things. But I try and do so in a Constructive manner. Your posts in the past few days have been pretty much Destructive in nature.
World of difference there.
Hugh Mongus, he certainly gets around
Not saying the 70% number is true…
But you do know there is a country called China?
And most of the Chinese players that play wow…play in China.
It’s like we expect effort for our money.
Destiny :poggers: Destiny :poggers: Destiny :poggers:
I’m kinda mad he didn’t go on Trainwrecks podcast on the topic they were talking about streamers ruining Classic.
Around 3 or 4 years into tbc for them I remeber the screenshots
like right now Dota is Number 1 with 315k peak its 825k.
2-3 million sounds about right if you go off what he said , and 2-3 million for 15 year old game is pretty good.
On the devs being frustrated , welcome to the party.
Everyone knows the subs are at an all time low , if you think they are not, you are just kidding yourself.
The reason why people are frustrated is because BFA is trash. It’s watered down and a terrible expansion considering what we came from. With how much frustration is about, the problem is with them.
It’s like when people was in school. If 90% of a class fails a test, the person who should be looked at is the teacher. If the community is being overly negative, perhaps the product isn’t good.
China’s population is 1.3 BILLION people.
Blizzard says they wanted to work with NetEase(China) to create a mobile Diablo game.
Everything points to Blizzard being primarily interested in the Chinese market. Not surprising since most entertainment companies are these days. Censoring Blood and Skeletons for Chinese audiences.
Not to mention that 1 in 4 Chinese people play a video game of some sort be it PC/Console/Android.
Primarily? No. Also? Yes.
That wont be for long with the new “Social credit score”
Frawns on excessive gaming
Some of my friends that live over there have took a credit score hit for playing 3 hours in a week
Everyone who makes video games are interested in the Chinese market, you would be silly not to be.
Which is why I said they are “also” but not “primarily” interested in the Chinese market. Deriving revenue from the Chinese gaming market is different than in most other countries, and as with the broader entertainment sector (and in fact essentially all sectors) only a portion of that revenue actually returns to the creator.
Its not implemented yet, i thought 2020?
Nope its been implemented since the beginning of the year…
Devs being frustrated? They chose to prune the classes further, they chose to ignore all feedback on azerite, they chose to ignore the lack of content on Wod, and lastly they chose to ignore how unfriendly for other specs the initial Legion artifact weapons were.
I can’t feel bad for them.
