Retail Itemization Team is cooked

I was getting hyped up for 11.2 - thematically super cool, Metzen at the helm, bringing back content I really enjoy, yada yada. I was finally getting ready to come back to Retail.

And then I start reading some of the itemization stuff. Artifact power. Raid-only items that turbo juice your artifact. More systems bloat.

The itemization team once again seizes defeat from the jaws of victory. Oh boy. Such a roller coaster. ePog hype moment I guess.

Y’all are complaining just to complain at this point.

Wait they’re putting drops in the raid that people want? Oh no!!

I’m honestly just sick of it. Really. End Ion’s tyranny.

Let people play the game how they want, stop trying to force these dying raids on the community.

Wait you don’t like only 2 necks dropping from mythics

Itemization  wtaf

If we go back to Shadowlands level of restrictions I think we have a problem. Cyrce’s Circlet was awesome after they pushed the hotfix that made all the gems available, and the belt was handled pretty well I thought. The only issues I have with it is that only one power seems to be the best for everyone, maybe they need to buff it a bit. I’m optimistic, I think they’ve learned their lessons from Shadowlands.

Can you explain more? Is there actually a weekly power grind that you can only achieve through raiding?

The guy that hates retail and everything about it, is pretending he was going to return to retail. But then didn’t like it.

This is super believable

Cloaks fine, having the boots be raid only is not

OP can you be a little more specific?

100% authentic i can feel it in my bones

I’m never sure if “cooked” is a good thing or a bad thing.

If you cook chicken it’s good. If you cook broccoli it’s bad.

People can play how they want.

“Let them cook” = give them time to make something good.

“Cooked” by itself means over cooked or in other words bad.

This thread is cooked.

Awesome. Most people know this. Now go into a bit more detail about this itemization?

Why? Do you think there shouldn’t be any good items in the raid that people want?
