Any reason why the improved retail UI isn’t being incorporated to classic??
It will be majorly off putting for people to have to download basic addons just to get the action bars, keybinds, bags etc. working well.
i love the old UI much more than the new one.

idk. For some reason, I was under the impression that they would be making a lot of changes to Cata Classic to make it more like a Classic+ but so far at least, it doesn’t seem like they have. I’m not sure where I got that impression from though.
Weren’t people talking about a new auction house interface, M+ like difficulty scaling dungeons, etc.?
If anything, I thought this was going to be the time to really experiment.

Aesthetically that’s fine, but you actually prefer not being able to move your action bars and quick keybind?? That would be a weird masochistic thing. If they want to keep an aesthetic “skin” option then fine, the functionality to get around using addons is what really matters.
i never found the old UI limiting.
I remember since TBC people saying they cant play with default UI. I am not one of them.

Ok that’s great but the world doesn’t revolve around you, move on then lol. I have more friends who used to play WoW but refuse to come back because of these types of issues than I do still remaining playing the game.
They don’t want to feel like they need to have a PH.D in addon and macro setup in order to play in a comfortable way.

move on? I liked it the way it was before it moved on.
if your friends cant figure out how to play with standard UI, perhaps the game is better off without them.

I find the original UI limiting. Thankfully there’s ElvUI. I imagine there are other addons as well that will resolve your issue.
