I’m not like that. I’m willing to hear opinions from every level of play. So just pretend as if I were only 2k rating-- you don’t have to treat me any differently. Though, I do prefer that we stay on the topic of Ret paladins, and not divulge into accusations, rumors, etc. I posit that Ret needs not only the bubble nerf detailed in the title, but could use at least a 70% nerf to WoG healing.
I’ve done a few gigs sure, but I wouldn’t classify myself as a “model.” Like I said, this has nothing to do with the OP. And while I appreciate the gesture, I’d prefer if I was treated with the same regards as you’d treat any other poster. Thanks.
Divine Shield is 8 seconds every five minutes. Two of the most popular classes can remove it.
Blessing of Protection also has a 5 minute cooldown, can be dispelled, only prevents physical damage, and cannot be used within 30 seconds of Divine Shield.
Shield of Vengeance is plain bad. It does not reduce incoming damage at all, the shield is negligible during enemy burst, and the outgoing damage is frequently trivial because of how it’s split between all nearby enemies.
Retribution survivability wasn’t good even when damage was slower, like in Battle for Azeroth. With how high damage is right now, it would be plain bad without it. Coupled with arguably the worst mobility in the game, it would be a an easy to kill, easy to kite class with only burst damage to back it up - which people also want nerfed.
I think there are adjustments that need to be made - namely changing Ringing Clarity to a flat damage increase instead of a roulette wheel that either tickles someone or almost one shots them - but this forum would turn paladins back into Classic lolrets if they could.
Every class flops without heals dude. Thats what healers are for. Dont act like ret NEEDS its op healing in 3’s alongside snother healer it has some of the best defensive kit in the game rn like wtf?
Outaide of cloak and evasion (which can be played around) rogue is squishy AF do i need my own WoG heals too??
Lol its not a me issue. Its majority of players think Ret is overtuned in both healing and dmg and you are just scared to get the Sub treatment. Its so obvious
Its ok to not want to be nerfed i get it, but not even i defended sub rogues dmg pre nerf. You are however defending ret, its kinda pathetic dude
