LETS MAKE RET GREAT AGAIN BOIS
LETS MAKE RET GREAT AGAIN BOIS
Ret is so boring to play now. I cannot believe what they are doing to us. I’ve never ever felt so bored and annoyed to play my main since Wotlk.
This is the first time I feel so clunky, lame rotation… forced to play Wake of Ashes spec instead of actual real wings.
Man, they need to bring back the glory days back.
Too bad, pve people love their auto sac, auto cs, auto freedom, auto wings. Basically afk and just spam the same spender
I could get down with these changes. But instead of a leap, I would have something like Blade of Justice brings us to the target, the animation could look like we’re stabbing the target instead of the sword magically coming out of the ground.
The reasoning behind the mortal strike could be something similar to execution sentence where someone’s deemed unworthy, and we’re helping them on their way to the afterlife.
Chains of justice?
Range 20 yrds, 20 second cooldown, no resource cost, on GCD
Your target is bound in shackles and must follow you at 50% speed for 5 seconds. Affected target can take no actions but ponder their life decisions.
That would be a funny way to set other specs up for knockbacks off cliffs.
Never saw anyone mention it on the forums.
Most of the commenter here loath it and we get the occasional “don’t mind it/indifferent”.
No one plays auto-freedom in PVE, we pretty much all take Freedom with unbound.
Don’t take my word for it.
Look at murlok. io

Again, pretty much all commenters on here aren’t fond of RG.
But we’re gimping ourselves if we don’t take it, it’s not a “real” choice.
Yeah pretty much spot on all around. RG seems to be where our sustained damage is tuned. AW or Crusade falls short of what RG can do.
Without a proper dispel, targeted freedom on an ally is a lot better than a random ally getting it, even if it is the closest ally.
AACS gets play because it is an automatic way to generate HP and some damage, it’s popular to some based on its lack of effort required as well. But more people would use casted abilities if that alternative did a lot more damage.
Never heard of anybody taking auto sac, too many talent points to invest in for basically the identical utility. Opting out of the automatic portion allows you to put a talent elsewhere where it is actually needed.
