Ok, I don’t main pally, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
I actually kinda like the new ret pally rotation. Before it was set up so you were constantly waiting for abilities to come of CD (even IcyVeins would mention the classes’ downtime as a con), now I feel like I can do an actual rotation and not let auto attack do half the work while I stand there like an idiot waiting to use my next ability.
Now, if only they could do the same thing with demon hunters…
Hmmm, A hunter asking if a pally is fun now, on the Rogue class forum. Just thinking it might be more advantageous to take this to the paladin forums. They may be a little bit more knowledgeable there.
Since it’s major rework, Ret Paladin is hands-down one of the funnest playstyles available in World of Warcraft. It feels well balanced, it’s talent trees are enjoyable to work within and customize, and it’s really tailored for a “fun first” experience.
It was so well made that they’ve had to repeatedly nerf it due to how well its own mechanics synergize with itself. And even after the nerfs and it’s “average” performance on DPS charts, are large percentage of people still play it because it’s just so dang fun.
For me, it just simply doesn’t replace what the Rogue has to offer though.
Yeah, not sure how this got dumped in the rogue forum, I was on the pally forum when I posted it because I was confused about part of the rotation and I was looking for a solution. Ironically, I found it. I guess the forums just post things where it wants now? It also explains why I couldn’t find my post.
