No seriously, think of the irony in the fact that while rets do have incredibly powerful damage they still aren’t very effective even against classes you’d easily expect them to perfectly counter lol

They always had countered cleaves in the past but don’t anymore (I mean I guess they can beat hunter cleaves but those aren’t good anyways lol). I’m actually shocked they aren’t actually useful which I think should probably point out lots of issues game has in general tbh. They have so many things that you could really on paper assume should make them amazing in the meta - yet it’s just not enough to actually be of use rofl.

Learn to use AMS and AMZ, you don’t even need to kite the Ret on Wings as DK. Your cooldowns line up perfectly to have both every time…

The biggest issue is eye for an eye isn’t even useful against melee besides warrior / Surv hunter. Every other melee class gets a large portion of damage from non-physical sources. If EfaE has a stronger damage thorns component people might actually not just keep blasting into it.

I would prefer to have old Eye for an Eye back, 30% of damage from magical sources is reflected back to its caster.

Btw no smart Dk takes AMZ if its ret + non caster. Transfusion is 1000% better

I can amz ams ret burst and live then he has small wings back up and i die. Its not heal throughable dps dude

Ye also can always use asphix on freedom when trying to run from the ret, asphix+DA gives space, lot of things you can do on DK to stay away from a ret and prevent death imo, you’ll usually just die by your own mistakes.

Can always play transfusion and AMZ, can give up Abomb if really worried and just focus on dampenig

Also it’s AMZ on long wings then just AMS on mini wings - lines up perfectly lol.

I don’t even think transfusion is all that necessary vs them though, can just hold RP for after any big hit.

Dont forget ret cant mitigate DK self healing so… Unless you get caught with ur pants down DKs shouldnt really die to it outside heavy damp?

Transfusion versus a Ret? AMZ 100% regardless of his partner. That’s probably why you complain about BoP/Bubble… because you can’t press Death Strike so you don’t know what to do :joy::joy::joy:

? I never said horse was slower than DA, DA just gives you distance if you stop a freedom+horse window with asphix lol

And ofc I’m god awful at DK, I’ve played it for 2 weeks (maybe 3 now) only difference is that I understand when and why I’m horrendous

Its not even about knowing your class in that scenario mes abuses the pve gear which is why he healed so much hardly any of it i saw was death strikes.

You can spam DS… You don’t even have to cast to heal. Also have AMS, AMZ, Asphixiate, Pet stun, Pet kick, and spamable chains

How are you complaining about ret when they’re no where on the ladder?? If anything Unholy DK should be nerfed.

Ds costs runic power, requires melee range, only heals for 10% if not taken much damage (which is low for the cost honestly).

Ds is only Op when Dk is being trained and your heals can be casted from anywhere and on others. Big difference

for the record idc if unholy gets nerfed I don’t even like to play the spec but frost isnt viable

You make it seem as though it’s difficult to get DS off. Runic power generates fast especially with the new pvp talent which increases DS heal. Again Flash of Light is a cast so very easy to kick. Dk always outheals ret in arena.
