Ret opening sequence

PvE
Is there a way to reduce the button bloat of all of the cds in the one minute build? The targeting of Final Reckoning seems to be blowing up any macro I try to make.

Question 2, should you hold Seraphim to stay lined up with the one minute burst, or use it with wake of ashes on cd?

Same questions for PvP, which might have a different answer.

Here is a small macro i use for final reckoning:

#showtooltip
/cast [@player] Final Reckoning

Basically makes it cast right on top of yourself. Don’t know about PvE but i do try to line up my Seraphim with FR in pvp especially if i am trying to drop a priority target or flag carrier etc. It doesnt always happen though.

Thanks. I am using that, but, I was trying different cast and castsequence macros so I can get seraphim, final reckoning and execution sentence into one button since they will be cast together. Talking on the class discord, I guess there is no way to do this.

I use this.

/castsequence [nomod] reset=30 Seraphim(), Final Reckoning(), Execution Sentence()

The reset is just in case i screw something and i need to start again. And yes, i need to place Final Reckoning manually.

Now does that work every time with everything in that order? Or does ES cast before FR? Also do you have to push the macro multiple times to get it to work?

Yes, a cast sequence requires you to press it once for each action in the sequence.

I really don’t remember 100% for sure if I tried it in sequence without the [@player], but I thought I did. I guess I need to test that. Would prefer the [@player] in a sequence to reduce buttons, but might have to test both ways and see if I prefer manually placing FR or using more buttons, since it seems it’s not an option to get both.

It works in that order, and you have to press it 3 times since all those spells are in the gcd.

Don’t mind the reset, its just there in case of emergency. Except for Seraphim, FR and ES have 1 min cd so the cast order won’t be modified.

It was great until the part where you had to place it lol. The 1 mini build is just too clunky. I know it pumps but trying to avoid damage and follow mechanics while trying to click trinkets and every else all in the right order is bothersome at best. Sera/Sanc is my goto and also pulls big dps

That’s the sole reason why I don’t run the 1 minute build. Too clunky

Yea but if you use my macro, you wont have to worry about placement. It just does it. While it does take 2 clicks to get the rotation going, you lose no time trying to drop the aiming reticle.

Yes I’m aware of that macro.

I’ve tried some macros out but sometimes it throws the order off so just bought a mouse with extra buttons to help. It took some practice but I like not having them macrod because in M+ it can be overkill and only really need FR and Divine toll if the groups AoE is good.

For the line up with Seraphim. Yes I always line it up with the burst sequence. As mentioned prior, sometimes it can be overkill and you’ll miss out on dps window if group is melting pulls. This only applies for AoE situations but if you already have the HP built up prior to pull, do it everytime.
