I’m having some trouble parsing the meaning of the topic of this ̶b̶a̶i̶t thread. “Deleted” is an adjective, and “needs,” the verb in this clause, is expecting a direct object — a noun or pronoun. You can get around this issue by inserting an infinitive (which acts like a noun) such as “to be” before your adjective. Or, if you prefer, you can just git gud.
