I’m currently saving for mastery 3 when it drops and am wondering if I should just go all in mastery on my gear or focus some other stats a little bit as well? I’m hoping to dump all my echoes and grab 6 tier 3 masterful. Without any mastery corruption I think I’m at 64% mastery 13 crit 20 haste 11 vers at ilvl 478. I’ll have to sacrifice some ilvl in order to raise other stats
I’ve stacked mastery and my stat weights put crit on top. Crit is also your highest ranked secondary too.
So I think it would be a safe bet that mastery/crit is best but secondaries become more valuable as you stack the other secondaries. So, it may change.
I have been stacking mastery, currently at 105% with 3x 480 ilvl azerite pieces having the Avenging Wrath trait, waiting for Saturday to get my last corruption effects
The way I see it is if nobody is focusing you versatility is almost a waste although i will warn stacking full mast amp is less forgiving than versa
I think it depends on your play style. Personally, I prefer to have less down time between spells, so I have gone to a classic haste/mastery build. Of course, I’m not as geared as you but I’m having fun being able to do more spells more frequently.
I am already critting at a max right now of just over 100k, so I don’t worry about higher critical strikes.
So my stats are: Crit: 21, Haste-33, Mast 40, vers 5. I am planning on dropping a ton on masterful once it shows up. That will definitely help me considerably.
But yeah, if you are looking directly for dps, probably dig deep into crit/mast. but for “fun-ability”, Haste/mast is pretty great.
Stat weight is pretty misleading and should be overlooked.
If you’re in only for dps, do some sims on raidbot using masterful and honed mind. For some people after a certain amount of masterful one honed mind is recommended, but maybe your sims may tell you to get some severe. Who knows, all characters are different. Even with x5 masterful 3 and x2 masterful 2, and one item left without corruption, it tells me to get another masterful 3.
I have 116% mastery, 19% crit, 14% haste and 5% vers. X3 Elemental Whirl (1215 stats proc) x2 avenger’s might x3 light’s decree and one empyrian power for cleave/aoe fight and x3 AV/X3 LD for pure single target fight.
How do I “add” corruptions to my sim without actually putting them on the gear?

Select slots to purify using raidbots and enter number of slots to analyze then pick the corruptions to sum.
I’m rocking 7 masterful3 and it’s a blast for Ret.
Any way I sim it wants masterful over honed. I’ve been lucky with lots of mastery gear.
