Currently Paladins who want to dps are stuck at the bottom of the bottom, we have NO other dps spec.

I’ve seen ret topping meters almost effortlessly.
You press a Button and get a huge damage spike. Then its constant from what I’ve seen.
Like I have to wait for cds. The rets I were running with last night were always sitting at 1 mil or more. No downtime.
If Ret is bad in M+, the ppl I’ve been doing leys with must be terrible.

Rogues are so horrible to play that even though they do some of the best DPS, they have some of the lowest parses lol.
They look good for now according to WoWLogs, but we will see how it shakes out once people stop dying and fluffing up Ret parses via our passive.
PS. They need to remove the free wings when someone dies. It always causes us to look good at the start of a tier but fall off and need buffs by the end of every tier.
Somebody has to be at the bottom. Why not Ret? Doesnt happen often
Ret bounced between middle of the pack to the bottom (often) from Cata through SL, they finally got good in 10.0.5 for the first time since Wrath

they’re not right, but it’s qualified with “without another dps option” meaning they’re full aware that all the garbo hard casters and movement capped specs (balance/destro/demo/bm/mm/shadow) are bad.
oops wait look at that, shadow is in that list and are far worse than ret, surprise OP is wrong.
ret is fine in M+

I didn’t try playing ret until deep in legion cuz their crying all over the forums was always so embarrassing. 
Disregard. Was thinking of the removed aura passive. Not the instrument of retribution.
Shadow priest has other dps options.
Ret is also fifth in heroic lol…
What? Ret’s been good in my experience, and it’s also day 3 of mythic plus dungeons.
Umm… If switching to another class is a DPS option?
