once you see a wake of ashes pop your defensive a little after the hit…and retreat to mitigate otherwise the beams and abilities might just cause your healer to be overwhelmed…quickly if they aren’t ready.

Ret are now basicaly a ranged class in plate that has no casting time on any damage skill.
Its kinda impossible to balance. If they have dmg, they become WotLK Frost DK OP. If they don’t have damage, they are useless.

Ok but can we please get a fun and flavorful PvP talent in exchange? Like something that changes the play style in a meaningful and unique way. Like maybe a rotation change or wings modification
Wings provides slow immunity and enables flying up the z axis mid game and your char hovers around like an evoker

It was S1 and they are not even -close- to as busted as they were then. They had like a 90% win rate and were 2 shotting people every 45 seconds. They also had a MW cacoon on top of their insane defensive kit. This is a sensationalist post.

As a DH , it has way more burst damage , amazing mobility and short duration to CC immunity , no, RET is just finally close to competitive but it is still no where close to Warrior / DH / Monk / Rogue.

Let them keep their damage, AT melee range. None of this 100 yard ankle-breaking hammers and ranged holy damage.

im fine with ret dmg just stop letting them function as a pseudo aug. insane people will line up to complain about aug anytime it gets played but rets been doing the same thing on and off for years
