This spec is beyond training wheels, easy to play and absurdely overtuned. I even made a challenge for myself to see if i can hit elite set without a single ally assist meaning I didn’t:

A single ally. I just mongo DPSed a target most of the time with HOJ and blind available. This was absurdely easy.
30 seconds goes and each feels impactful. 1-1.4mil a global. You just chunk people with a rotation that does not even need a 1 button. People say DH is easy, at least you need to watch out for your proces with Reaver and you can be 100-0 no problem.
RET - easiest rotation in the game, hit w.e lights up and no drawbacks!
Last but not least - ret is TRUE ranged class. War has to be 100% melee, DK does not do any meaningful dmg unless you have a sudden doom + wounds which require melee.
Ret has no problem with chunking people with 1 mil globals from 20 yards away.
Beyond stupid defensive toolkit:
1 min 20% DR + 15% heal increase
4mil ALL absorb shield + explode
Lay on Hands
BOP
Magic BOP
Bubble
Also Cash out Word of Glory spam if things get dicy (myself, ofc i dont need to heal teammates)
This feels wild compared to my DK. Even against casters ret has all the survivability he needs.
Plate wearer with unmatched defensives hitting at ranged with all instant casts…
Really it feels like Ret is playing in the next expansion already.
I like it. I mostly play my war or mage but when I just want to hit bubble and wings and plow stuff, pally all day. I don’t take any of the support spells except BoP. Its damage isn’t even better than other classes. Having a simple class, easy to understand, is good for the game. The rotation is crisp. Honestly, it’s in a really good spot.
You were not complaining before the latest round of buffs to the spec that made it good.
So comolaining about the entire kit now instead of asking for the buffs to herald to be reverted is stupid and shows lack of knowledge.

Because people like you will get the entire spec nerfed in places it doesnt deserve when all it needs is the damage buffs to herald to be pulled back. All of them.

Okay, but starting mmr as of yesterday was 1894 and I Qd into a lobby where a rogue didnt use cloak, evasion, cheap, or kidney shot a single time. A feral didnt go bear form, maim, or bash. A mage blocked 1 game, and TWO disc priests pressed swap a total of once, dome 0x, and pain sup once.
Ferals better than all 4 you listed, DH and rogue equal at least. I think you may be a little out of touch with current balancing respectfully. Shadow is also tuned well defensively to handle anything.
