Again and again, you’re proceeding from the false assumption that personal DPS is all that matters in TBC. It’s not, and never was. The core design of TBC is based on raid contribution and not just personal contribution. You didn’t even know the constants for the math, let alone the math. You’re bad. The end.

No, ret isn’t bad in arena.
It’s awful. Literal trash can tier except in 2’s with a shaman and then its Meme tier at best.

I gave you a link that shows the tippity top performances, the top 100 rankings essentially, for Gruul and puts them in order of DPS. It’s an extremely small pool of almost entirely cheesed parses and doesn’t represent what you’d find in a typical raid but hey let’s go with this silliness.

Oh look, ret still gets beat out by rogues and warriors. Because at this level pure dpsers shouldn’t go anything but the best because according to you only top parses matter. And even when only considering those top parses ret is still weak.
To clarify my argument since you and aura have issues with reading and brain stuff.
Ret is low tier damage. You bring one because they give a buff to the raid. Having more than 1 is kinda pointless and not having one isn’t a big deal. They’re middle of the road and easily replaced, therefore bad.
A mage, shaman, warlock, hunter, rogue, and warrior can all out perform a ret pally and still offer strong raid buffs and utility.
Having a ret pally for anything other than their raid buff is pointless.
Just came back to see if this hunter with his awfully mediocre parses is still so tilted he has at least 3 holes in his drywall now.

So my point of… You bring one for the buff is not wrong? I’m right for saying that you don’t bring a ret pally for their dps but for their buff? And having more than 1 is pointless? That having another class with higher dps and their own utility is better?

Showing that warriors and rogues are, by your criteria, better than ret pallies in damage disproves my point of bringing a rogue or warrior is better than additional rets?

Fixed that for you. Variables are important. You’ll learn that if you ever go back to finish your GED. 
And if we look at the top 80th percentile across gruul/mag, which is a far more accurate representation of a raid everyone in this thread will do, you’ll find ret is still 7/9 classes and 13/21 specs. Really not good numbers.
