Why do we still have this after 20 years?
Resurrection timer? Like when you die so much they give you a growing wait time? I assume the same reason as before, not being able to endlessly respawn.

But its kinda pointless. Leveling characters in the pre xpac event, some bosses basically instant kill low levels, meaning you have to time the resurrect where you can get a tag in but not die again. Otherwise the resurrection times grows insanely fast of you just sitting there. I’ve even missed the main boss but was stuck waiting for the timer and the boss dies so fast.
its so you cant just endlessly zerg your way past stuff.
