Is it truly possible to restore each and everyone’s lost accounts after the shut down over at china after netease failed to negotiate. And after many months post Microsoft acquisition and the negotiation is a success is it truly possible to restore their lost accounts or is it that they (the players) have to start from scratch and re earn everything they have lost post shut down?

99% sure that Chinese players were able to download their characters before they did the shutdown…so yes, they will be able to restore their accounts if they took the necessary actions.

I wonder if we’d be offered such an affordance should something similar ever transpire in the States, such as civil unrest or the like. Not that I expect we would need it, but it does seem like every day things get a little worse and worse, as sad as that is to say. Just once I’d love to wake up and not see more stupid infecting the news cycle, or news of some new conflict in X country; followed by how it is X group’s fault, because of whatever political angle the commentator supports.
