Nope. You can switch to pre-8.3 (Visions of N’Zoth) but not pre-5.4.

Yep! There used to be a fully intact (and very beautiful imo) Vale of Eternal Blossoms prior to Mists of Pandaria’s final patch, 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar.
Think I remember that, but no. We need a constant reminder of the evil of Orcs and why they must be purged from Azeroth.
They honestly still need it for the Siege of Orgrimmar entrance, but a time travel NPC could be inserted for that. They already went through the trouble of creating another version at the end of BfA. Just have to remove a few Old God attackers and insert another phase.
