If you’re a new player starting the expansion in 9.1, you’ll be completely lost if you try to follow the story. Since they removed the quests where you rescue Thrall, Jaina, and look for Anduin, you basically jump from them being gone, to being saved, and suddenly Anduin is evil. It’s very jarring and confusing, and in my friend who I got to play, turned them off completely to the storyline and game as a whole.
You shouldn’t have to go onto Youtube and fill in the gaps.
I remember in 9.1 Blizzard was even trying to lie and claim it’s a bug. A GM even told me in a ticket I submitted about it, “Oh you’re not missing much anyways.”
Is that really how this company sees it’s own product? Then why should any of us even respect or play this game at all?
Restore the questline. Completely ridiculous that they removed it. Restore it as soon as possible. Don’t wait until 9.2 or anything, restore it now. This is absurd.

Nobody asked for it to be removed completely, all they asked for was a skip for alts. Nice attempt at gas lighting though.

Shadowlands story progression is a mess and still not alt friendly.

Nah, let the wow story die and be forgotten. We already have forcefully redeemed Sylvannas. Nothing matters anymore.
I did the Torghast quest on this mage and on my level 60 Priest.
I found it quite fun. If they removed it…just another example of Blizzard taking the “fun” out of the game.
It’s not a bug.
BTW I love running Torghast. My guild does it as a group activity each week. ( we are a RP guild)
