I’m starting this thread because I feel like it is not spoken about enough, The restoration system is flawed from a technical stand-point of deleted items, specifically quest rewards, or items that cannot be re-obtained. I, along with many others I know of have accidentally deleted an item, (one that is very important for their character) and have no way to restore that item. A specific instance of this happening was a friend of mine deleting his devilsaur’s eye which is a BIS hunter on-use trinket, he has no way of re-obtaining. He deleted because it literally looks like a bug eye. I on the other hand deleted my Blackhand’s Breadth. While many of you may say, well too bad! I feel as if a company in which you pay 15$ a month to, with today’s technology the blizzard GM’s should be able to reinstate that item to the character, or at least put it on the restoration page manually. Instead the DEV team told the GM’s that they are not allowed to help in anyway. This needs more attention. The DEV team should give some freedom to the GM’s to help out their paying player base.
I agree, quest items should be restorable. Give this man his item!
I can not believe what is happening to this community this is revolting black hand breath is bis for a lot of classes atm. So the fact that your not giving this man the time of day to even get his black hand breath is absurd the audacity you have to not give is absurd if u could please restore his black hand breath asap thank u for the time
Imagine dealing with the consequences of your actions. Ludicrous
The item restoration system is convenient for what it does, but the limit on what you can do is frustrating. The limited number of items that can be restored is ridiculous. And it especially falls flat when it comes to quest items where you can’t just farm up another or buy another. I hope that blizzard will reconsider their position on this issue, because it affects many more than just the couple people mentioned here.
I thought they had changed the restoration system to be a little more friendly on this stuff, and that quest obtained and rare items were on a new separate thing that goes back a lot further.
I accidentally deleted my T2 legs a while back by accident, actually worse than that I DE’d them. I was a bit worried because I assumed it was gonna be a GM ticket, but the system was actually super easy to use and I got the item back in 5 min, and it was still enchanted.
That was my experience, and it worked out well.
