Yes, well, we don’t talk about Unholy specialization. <.<
That was the worst piece of writing that ever made it into this game. Giving it dues is irresponsible.
Gonna need a source. I’m pretty sure the runestones were erected by magisters.
No, thank you. I’d rather see a panda druid than another elf allowed to sit amongst the awesome ranks of Druid.
Imagine if Denathrius came through a Portal to help against Fraak during that “Endgame Portal Scene”
No explanation, no context, just Denathrius choking Fraak.
The Blood Elves have plenty of Tauren, Darkspear and Zandalari to teach them, they do not need Night Elves. Nor should they even consider being taught by Night Elves.
Nightborne just the same.
I’d rather see the Farstriders, now reinforced with Shaman and Druid blood elves, work with the Blood Knights in a similar fashion to what the Argent Crusade and Cenarion Circle did to clear up Western Plaguelands.
If the recent “heritage” quest is to be believed, Night Elves do not need help with this and its already being done.
No, Night Elves should use their faith of Elune to become paladins, and Void Elves… well personally I want them to just use the Void to do the paladin thing rather than the Light. Though there isn’t anything stopping them from using the Light as paladins anymore than there is for the Forsaken whom we know can in fact do so. Its just… lets say very uncomfortable. But you know. Zealots gonna zealot.
Shen’dralar are already doing an ok job of this now that Tyrande and the rest of society isn’t trying to forget they exist. They don’t need this.
I mean sure but they’ll do this with all races at the same time per class. They’re not going to just do elves get shaman or something. They’ll do everyone gets shaman.
This isn’t that hard. Couple ways they could do it in lore.
Either one they just get accepted by the elements cause the elements aren’t stupid and know they’re not the same forces of void they’ve fought and been enslaved by before. Honestly could be a very neat story.
Or they do what the voids done before and go the Dark Shaman route. Less neat and kinda more annoying though.
There was a throwaway line in Warcraft 2 that runestones were built using druidic magic.
Of course, druids as they are in WoW didn’t exist back then, they were just a glimmer in the Diablo dev team’s eye. It was just a single reference to a spellcaster that felt “elfy” enough.
There is another reference to it from the ttrpg but that was decanonized before it’s release.
you are the creature that happens when a Tauren teaches “consider the bulldog” to a Naga from some troll infested forest.
While I support B.Elves becoming Druids… they don’t need to learn it from N.Elves. They should learn it from their allies - the Tauren and Trolls.
I’d have to crack open Chronicles again, but I think that’s been retconned to the Runestones being made by magisters/arcanists to mingle their arcane magic into Thas’alah’s nature magic in order to create the Ban’dinoriel.
Wrecking ball then and build it back better than before? I mean especially if people are talking about spoiling the elves more than they already are… NE got a new capital why not the BE too. Everyone knows Blizz loves the elves (except Nightborne odd enough) after all and everyone else is second fiddle to them so why not?
I’d suggest a pair of scissors, since it’s a paper house. Carve out funny shapes first.
Blood Elves are getting a revamped Silvermoon in Midnight
ah…so a wrecking ball may already be getting used then… that or determined builders who’re trying to fix up the place. Then again we got Nightborne now so…may be some talented individuals among them who could fix the place. I’d find it funny if parts of Silvermoon ended up purple though… but who’s to say
There probably deff will be a Nightborne Quarter considering Lor’themar married Thalyssra. Didn’t think about that till now lol, Silveemoon’s gonna be pretty diff, better stay Red tho.
Hopefully an Anastarian statue too.
That’s so disrespectful to call arguably the best racial leader the Horde has right now “that Nightborne Lady”
Fixed, I didn’t know her name was too lazy to google.
Alright, so I don’t see a good chunk of that being how it goes, here’s what I EXPECT to happen.
The Tribes related to the expansion (If we are indeed doing ALL the tribes.):
- Night Elves
- Blood Elves
- Nightbourne
- Void Elves
- High Elves (Who may or may not get turned into Void Elves by the end of either of these expansions by Valleria and/or Xal’atath.)
- Druids of the Flame (Might get absorbed by the Night Elves or become their own Faction inside the Alliance.)
- Highbourne (I imagine they will pop up and MAYBE have relevance, some of them are already with the Night Elves.)
- Dark Rangers
- Illidari
- San’Layn (They might join the Horde, not to mention they’d still be relevant for the Expansion after this one.)
- Felbloods (Might rejoin the Blood Elves, might not.)
- Various Tribes of Trolls, most likely the Forest and Dark Trolls (Heck the latter might pop up in the upcoming one given they are underground and cave dwellers.), the Elves and Humans DID steal their land after all.
- Any of the Undead Elves that don’t belong to any of the previously mentioned factions.
- Druids of the Fang (Or whatever the Night Elf Worgen are called. Bought time to wake them up.)
- Primalist Elves.
- Naga
Like there’s ALOT of ways that wording can be interpreted.
As for Classes, here is what I expect will happen for the 4 playable races we got so far and how they will likely get them.
Night Elves: Paladins of Elune, we already got some, pretty simple honestly. Shaman will likely be Primalists or even Druid of the Flame Defectors who might also draw in the Dark Iron to help out here (Either way, I expect the Dark Iron and Night Elves to bond a bit over Fire Elemental shenanigans.).
Nightbourne: They are gonna learn how to use the Arcane and Nature Magic together from that one Night Elf who helped us make the Arcandor Tree, making them these were Arcane Nature Druids, might learn some from Horde Druids to help them form the foundation. Shamans uh…I have no idea, maybe figure out some way to use the Arcane to contact the Elements or something, no idea honestly. Edit: Forgot Paladins…Uh, Arcane Paladins? I have no idea.
Blood Elves: Shamans Is going to be a Combination of Primalist Defectors and the Shaman OGs, that being Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren Filling in the gaps for what’s missing, maybe using the Sun in some way. Speaking of the Sun, some Blood Elves might get inspired from the recent events with the Primalists and learn from the Tauren Sunwalkers about An’she and Create a order of Sun Druids.
Void Elves: Shamans I figure they are going to use the Void to learn how to use Nature. Paladins…I have no Friggin’ idea, lorewise Light and Void together equals explosions. Unless Blizzard starts creating unique Assets for Each Race and Class Combo, I just can’t figure out how this would work. Edit: Forgot Druids, uh I figure something similar to the Shaman one, they mix Void and Druidic magics together, maybe even call a bit on the Farstriders teachings for this.
Very true. On Argus, Velen realized that the Void and Light can work together in unison and we helped create the Netherlight Crucible, a magic forge powered by both the Light and the Void to empower our artifacts with enough strength to be able to defeat the Legion.
Netherlight Temple is another time they use both the Void and the Light together to better fight the Legion.
Theres other points in WoW’s history where the Light and the Void interact together as well, not to mention that Disc priests mix the two as part of their thing.
